Doctor Chemist UK & Ireland aims to provide the best value for money prescription lifestyle medications. The Medicines and Healthcare Regulatory Agency has advised us that it is not permissible to advertise prices of prescription medications prior to a consultation with a medical practitioner. The advice is based on the latest legal interpretation of laws governing the promotion of medicines. You might see some websites which flout this law and you would be well advised to avoid them.
How to Access Prices
The registration process with Doctor Chemist takes only a few minutes and you will be given a full price list of all the medications for which you have been approved. If you were looking for a particular medication and it is not listed, please get in touch with us and we will explain why we believed that this medication was not appropriate for you. In some cases we are prepared to review the consultation again but we will never prescribe a medication which is unsuitable for you, even if it is the only one that you are prepared to purchase. With Doctor Chemist, patient safety will always come before profits.
What our Prices Include
The prices that you see when you register are all encompassing – we will never add on any extras. Specifically, we include the cost of issuing a prescription from a GMC registered doctor, its transmission to our associated pharmacy, the cost of dispensing the medication, the medication itself, packing the medication in discreet and damage proof packaging and sending the medication direct to you by overnight courier.
When you take all of this into account, we are sure that you will agree that you will be getting excellent value for money.
How we Compare with Others
We are so confident that you will not find a better deal on your medications that we make a price match guarantee. If you see your medication cheaper through another website offering an identical service, based in the UK and dispensing from a registered pharmacy, we will be glad to offer to beat that price. This offer cannot be applied retrospectively.
